Shakespeare in the Park
Shakespeare in the Park, a beloved annual event in Central Park each year, is presented elsewhere in NYC this year as the Theatre undergoes renovations. Instead, the Public Theater presents "GO PUBLIC!", a festival featuring free Shakespeare performances and film screenings across New York City's five boroughs. This includes a bilingual musical adaptation of "The Comedy of Errors" and outdoor showings of "Much Ado About Nothing". The theater reopens in summer 2025, continuing its tradition of free, large-scale Shakespeare productions. For more information, visit the Central Park website.
