Ready to step up your sales game at one of New York City's most iconic hotels? The Empire Hotel, a 4-star landmark nestled between Central Park and Lincoln Center, is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Manager. This role is perfect for a sales professional eager to develop new business, nurture client relationships, and contribute to the ongoing success of our legendary hotel. What You'll Do:
•    Hunt for Business: Actively seek out new group and transient business opportunities, ensuring our hotel remains a top destination for a diverse range of clients.
•    Negotiate and Win: Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiations, highlighting The Empire’s unique charm, including our famous Gossip Girl roots.
•    Client Engagement: Conduct engaging site visits, tours, and presentations to showcase the hotel's offerings and amenities.
•    Support Operations: Collaborate with the front office and operations teams to ensure that client expectations are exceeded, and every stay is memorable.
•    Reach for the Stars: Consistently meet sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue goals of the hotel.

What We're Looking For:
•    Sales Enthusiast: Prior experience in NYC hotel sales manager role is a plus, but not required; we're looking for someone eager to learn and grow in the role.
•    Relationship Builder: You have a natural talent for networking and establishing strong client relationships.
•    Clear Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
•    Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are always willing to support your team.
•    Organized and Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s / Associate’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
•    Previous hotel experience required, with a strong preference for previous Sales experience in independent space / NYC market.
•    Strong organizational skills & ability to multitask.
•    Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and evenings as needed.

Guest Service Agents play a pivotal role in ensuring an unforgettable experience for our valued Hotel guests. This dynamic position involves greeting guests upon arrival, efficiently handling check-ins and check-outs, addressing inquiries with professionalism and warmth, and providing information about the hotel's amenities and the vibrant surroundings of the Big Apple. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for hospitality, our Guest Service Agents are the front-line ambassadors of our brand, dedicated to making each stay exceptional.

Bell Attendants are in constant communication with the Front Office and Valet to ensure guests are escorted and their luggage and personal items are transported to and from the guest rooms efficiently. It’s important to ensure that guests are comfortable with accommodations and are familiar with room offerings and features. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and hotel or local recommendations.

The Engineering Team is responsible for successful operation of the hotel facilities & building functions. This includes the inside as well as the outside of the building. This person must be knowledgeable in HVAC & Electrical Engineering.
