Every year on first Sunday in November, New York City bursts with energy as the TCS New York City Marathon takes over the streets. What started in 1970 with 127 runners in Central Park now sees over 50,000 participants traversing all five boroughs on New York. The course kicks off on Staten Island, offering stunning views from the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, winds through Brooklyn and Queens, and charges into Manhattan via the Queensboro Bridge. It then heads through the Bronx and back to Manhattan, finishing in Central Park.

The marathon isn’t just a test of endurance; it’s a cultural celebration for New Yorkers and visitors alike. Over a million enthusiastic spectators line the streets, cheering on runners from more than 140 countries. Whether running or cheering, the NYC Marathon is a testament to human spirit and community. Mark your calendars for this iconic event and be part of something extraordinary.
