A Night at the Museum: The Overnight Experience
Sleep Among the Exhibits in a One-of-a-Kind Adventure
The sleep over at the American Museum of Natural History offers kids ages 6 –12 and their caregivers the rare chance to explore the museum after hours. Guests embark on flashlight tours through the fossil halls, come face-to-face with towering dinosaurs, and wander among lifelike dioramas of African mammals and live insect displays. The evening also includes fun activities like scavenger hunts, trivia, karaoke, bedtime stories, and a special movie screening. When it’s time to rest, participants roll out their sleeping bags beneath the museum’s iconic Blue Whale in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, with bedtime snacks provided and a light breakfast served in the morning. It’s a one-of-a-kind adventure that brings the magic of the museum to life long after the crowds have gone home.
